Stage 5 Wednesday 24 Sept: Guines to Licques (15km/9.3m)

A stunning day for walking… cool, clear, gentle breeze (not so gentle at times!), stunning views and good trails.

We started our new “two car” model today. We dropped the first car at Licques (our destination) and then headed to Guines (our starting point) and parked up (about a 10 min drive). We then walked to Licques, had afternoon tea, then jumped in the car and headed back to pick up the other car from Guines. Day 1 has been deemed a success with the “faff” of juggling cars outweighed by the freedom to stay and move as and when we like.
