Stage 17 Tuesday 7 Oct: Seraucourt-le-Grand to Tergnier (18.8kms/11.7m)

First, happy birthday Lynn!

We moved house today, shifting from Peronne to our next gite in Chaillevois, about 20 minutes drive from Laon. To minimise driving at the end of the day we walked the route backwards from Tergnier to Seraucourt-le-Grand. A refreshing change this morning as we walked the first 10km alongside the Canal du Saint Quentin… then it was back to fields of potatoes, sugar beets and towns with nothing open.

Happy birthday 💕
